WARRANTY
Alecto is a brand of Commaxx BV. Therefore, the general terms and conditions of Commaxx BV apply to all offers on this website.
These warranty conditions apply to consumers.
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase of the product. The warranty period is 24 months. The warranty period is not extended by warranty work or replacement deliveries carried out under the warranty. Please keep your proof of purchase in a safe place. Repair or replacement under warranty is only possible upon presentation of the original proof of purchase. As the buyer, you must handle warranty claims and/or any complaints with the (online) store where the device was purchased.
Excluded from warranty
The warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by external influences;
- damage caused by negligence;
- improper or incorrect use, as well as incorrect operation or excessive load, including but not limited to the use of leaking and/or incorrectly inserted batteries and/or the use of non-original parts;
- incorrect setup or installation, for example due to failure to observe applicable safety regulations and/or the instructions in the operating, installation and/or assembly manual(s);
- modifications, additions and/or extensions to the device;
- professional or commercial use;
- Alecto Baby products ordered outside the Alecto Baby webshop. In such cases, you must contact the store or webshop where you purchased the relevant Alecto Baby product;
- repairs and/or modifications carried out by persons or organisations other than Alecto Baby.
The decision regarding the application of the warranty rests with Alecto Baby at all times.

Definitions
For the purposes of these warranty conditions, the following definitions apply:
Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the course of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with Alecto Baby;
Commaxx BV: Alecto Baby, established in Kerkrade.
Content and scope
If defects occur within the warranty period, Commaxx BV will determine whether your device will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Replacement parts or devices become the property of Commaxx BV. Consumables, meaning components that can reasonably be expected to require replacement during the lifetime of the product, and accessories are NOT covered by the warranty. These include batteries, antennas, remote controls, cables, buttons, battery covers and other similar accessories.
If an inspection and/or repair shows that the defect was caused by improper use of the device, the warranty does not apply and we reserve the right to charge you for repair and material costs. We will contact you in advance so that you can decide whether you wish to proceed.
Make sure that you place the device in its original packaging. If this is not possible, use suitable and sturdy replacement packaging. If the device is transported without suitable packaging, the warranty will become void. The transport risk lies with you. Do not include any additional items such as DVDs, USB sticks or similar items. If these additional items are accidentally lost, we cannot accept responsibility for them.
Counterfeit products
When you purchase our products directly from Alecto Baby or from an authorised Alecto Baby dealer, you can be sure that you are purchasing a genuine Alecto Baby product. The limited warranty provided by Alecto Baby applies only to genuine Alecto Baby products purchased from Alecto Baby or from an authorised Alecto Baby dealer.
If you purchase our products from an unauthorised Alecto Baby dealer, the product will only be covered by the Alecto Baby warranty if the unauthorised dealer can demonstrate, by means of a detailed invoice and proof of payment, that the product was actually purchased from Alecto Baby or from an authorised Alecto Baby dealer.
Alecto Baby does NOT provide any warranty for counterfeit products. If you attempt to resell such products, you may be held legally liable and/or face criminal prosecution.
